Our Story

Sri Murugan Travel Agency was founded in 1975 by Mr. SPR Subramanian in Madurai, the Temple City, and quickly emerged as a pioneer in the tourism sector within Tamil Nadu. The agency’s first tour operation was a devotional pilgrimage package to Sabarimala, blessed by Lord Ayyappa. Initially, the business was managed as a family venture by Mr. Subramanian and his wife, Kothai Aachi.

Over the years, the company expanded its operations across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, establishing itself as a leading name in the industry. Today, Sri Murugan Travel Agency has broadened its scope to include North India and international tourism, gaining a reputation for excellence in service and customer satisfaction.
